School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
Make a real impact supporting students in the Jacksonville area as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year! This dynamic opportunity allows you to work with Pre K-12 students in a variety of settings, making a genuine difference in their communication and learning experiences. You'll collaborate with educational teams to address mild to moderate needs, providing essential therapy across multiple school locations as an itinerant SLP. Each day offers variety and the rewarding chance to help students reach their fullest potential.
Your expertise is needed for a full-time, on-site position, not open to virtual services, starting August 10, 2026, and continuing through May 28, 2027. You’ll work 35 hours a week, supporting a diverse caseload estimated around 60 students—age groups and locations will be specified prior to placement.
Qualifications:
• Current FL DOH SLP Licensure (CCC required)
• Experience with school-based caseloads and mild/moderate needs across Pre K-12
• Ability to work flexibly in an itinerant capacity at multiple campus locations
• Successful completion of fingerprinting as required (prior clearance in AHCA Clearinghouse a plus)
• Capacity to manage IEP goals, collaborate with school teams, and document therapy progress
• Commitment to on-site service delivery throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy
• Assess, plan, and implement effective intervention plans
• Monitor student progress and contribute to IEP meetings
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
