You’ll collaborate with teachers and families to deliver high-quality therapy to students with a variety of communication needs. Currently, two children have been identified for services, each with approximately 90 minutes of therapy per week, and nine more are in the referral process. The caseload is likely to expand as additional referrals are received, making this an excellent role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, growing environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- SLP with CCC credentials and valid state licensure
- Prior experience (or strong interest) working in school-based settings
- Comfort collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage evolving caseloads
- Compassionate and patient approach for working with young children and their families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to pre-k students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress
- Attend and contribute to eligibility/referral meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Communicate progress and recommendations effectively to all stakeholders
