Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology or ability to obtain prior to start
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and inclusive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and develop evidence-based individual or group therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ unique communication needs
- Develop, review, and implement IEP goals in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress notes, and required reporting
- Consult with educational staff to integrate strategies within classroom activities
- Contribute to the school community by participating in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
