Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain if relocating)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered
- Experience with IEP development and implementation in a school setting highly valued
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing therapy plans, and monitoring progress
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach to student care and family communication
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Track and document student progress, updating goals and strategies as appropriate
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administrators to support each student’s goals
