Key Qualifications:
- Holds a valid New York SLP license and TSSLD certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school or pediatric-based speech therapy preferred
- Skilled in teletherapy methods and diverse SLP healthcare environments
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary team approaches
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services for third-grade students
- Complete thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation in compliance with school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with families, teachers, and other service providers
- Utilize both in-person and virtual strategies, supporting best practices for inclusive education
