You’ll work onsite near Cordele, GA, providing expert assessment and targeted therapy to help students develop essential communication skills that shape their academic and social success. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Previous experience with pediatric populations or in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong clinical skills in a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Deliver focused therapy sessions for students 1:1 or in small groups, tailored to unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Document student progress, maintain records, and attend IEP meetings
- Provide consultative support and resources to staff and caregivers as needed
