School Speech Therapist - Phoenixville, Pennsylvania
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) across multiple school locations in the greater Aston and Broomall, PA area. This contract role offers flexibility with schedules ranging from full-time (5 days/week) to part-time opportunities (minimum of 2 days/week), ideal for professionals seeking a dynamic and rewarding position.
Your expertise will play a vital role in helping a diverse caseload, including an Autism support classroom in Aston, as well as itinerant students in nearby communities such as Media, Brookhaven, Glen Mills, Chaddsford, and more. Additional service needs extend to Upper Darby, Yeadon, Darby, Clifton Heights, Ridley, Lansdowne, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, and Wayne, allowing you to work with a wide variety of student populations.
Qualifications:
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification
- Experience in school-based settings with children and adolescents
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads, including autistic support and itinerant services
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to start immediately
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as assigned
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain progress documentation
- Collaborate with special education teams and families to support student communication goals
- Travel to and work within different assigned locations as required by the needs
