Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or pending CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- Arizona SLP license (or eligibility)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, especially in pediatrics
- Ability to collaborate and supervise SLPA staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and adaptability skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate speech therapy services across assigned K-8 campuses
- Supervise and support full-time SLPAs, ensuring high-quality service and compliance
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services, as appropriate
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and parent communications
- Adapt interventions and approaches based on student progress and changing caseload needs
This itinerant position supports a dynamic blend of direct service, leadership, and teamwork. As the primary SLP, you’ll have a unique chance to shape program delivery across multiple sites, working closely with paraprofessionals to positively impact students’ communication abilities.
