School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Philipsburg, Pennsylvania
Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working across three buildings serving elementary, middle, and high school populations. This rewarding opportunity involves a manageable caseload split over three campuses, providing you variety in your daily work. You will administer 55 thirty-minute treatment sessions per week (16 individual and 37 group), allowing you to work closely with both individual students and small groups. Collaborating with educators and families, you'll play a key role in supporting students' growth and achievement.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate and valid SLP Certification
- SLP-CCC status preferred
- Experience with K-12 student populations in educational settings
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and travel between buildings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Provide both group and individual treatment sessions as scheduled
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Maintain detailed documentation for each student’s progress and comply with all state and district guidelines
