Position Overview:
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 11, 2027
Setting: School-based
Caseload: Approximately 25–40 students, ages 3–21
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience $50/hr+
What You Need to Succeed:
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active PA SLP Licensure
Experience with AAC and alternative communication systems preferred
Experience working with students with complex cognitive, medical, orthopedic, or visual needs preferred
School-based experience preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to support students who are primarily non-verbal and use a variety of communication systems
Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct, consultative, and/or group speech-language services
Support students in developing functional communication and greater independence
Set up and implement AAC systems, including eye gaze, picture communication, tactile systems, and low-tech devices
Integrate communication goals into students’ daily routines and schedules
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team
