Support children’s growth and communication skills as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working with an Early Intervention program near beautiful West Chester, PA. In this contract role for the current school year, you will provide expertise and compassionate support to young learners ages birth to five, empowering them to reach important speech and language milestones. With a flexible, part-time schedule of 25 hours per week, you’ll partner with dedicated educators and families, playing a key role in each child’s success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP credential
- Current state license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Demonstrated experience serving pediatric and/or early intervention populations
- Prior work in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for helping children overcome speech and language challenges
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders among young children
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, early childhood staff, and families
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state reporting requirements
- Communicate ongoing progress and recommendations to families and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP or IFSP meetings and contribute to goal planning
- Provide interventions that are evidence-based and child-centered
