Middle School Licensed School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Peyton, Colorado
Step into a meaningful role supporting students across elementary and middle school levels as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and offers the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of children from kindergarten through 8th grade. Working 37.5 hours each week, from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to foster positive outcomes in communication and academic achievement.
What you’ll bring:
- Active SLP license and relevant state certification
- Experience providing speech-language services in school settings preferred
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Passion for working with elementary and middle school students (K-8)
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
In this role, you will:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to students while maintaining appropriate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer guidance on speech and language goals
- Provide screenings and evaluations as needed for referred students
