Qualifications & Credentials:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates both welcome
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Proficiency with AAC devices; ability to implement and support device integration into therapy
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
- Passion for empowering students with diverse speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers and staff on strategies and accommodations for classroom success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support students’ use of AAC devices and provide training as needed
