School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) for a full-time position for the upcoming school year with school districts in the Pensacola, Florida area. This role offers the opportunity to support students in a dynamic educational environment while making a meaningful impact on their communication development.
Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Florida Department of Education certification, if required by the district
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting in accordance with local and state regulations
- Compliance with all district and state professional standards
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
