Position Overview:

- Assignment for the upcoming school year
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Compliance with all Florida state and local district requirements
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting
- Experience working with special education students and families preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
