School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Pensacola, Florida

Step into a dynamic school-based role providing speech-language pathology services to PreK through 5th-grade students for the 26/27 academic year. Your expertise in speech-language pathology will help identify, assess, and address communication disorders, ensuring students reach their fullest potential in an engaging classroom environment. You'll work a standard school schedule, committing to 40 hours per week throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Florida SLP license (required)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
- Prior experience with school-based caseloads is a plus, especially in PreK-5 settings
- Strong diagnostic, evaluation, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within PreK-5 elementary settings
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
