Speech Language Pathologist in Pensacola, FL
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting the communication needs of elementary students as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This on-site opportunity spans the full academic year, from August 12, 2026, to May 25, 2027, with a standard schedule of 37.5 hours per week, ensuring you have a predictable and steady work environment.
You'll be part of a collaborative educational setting, leading speech and language services for an elementary caseload of approximately 45 students. Your expertise will have a significant impact, helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic journey.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid and active SLP credentials with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in school-based speech-language therapy—elementary school preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborative work with multi-disciplinary teams
- Commitment to full-time, on-site service delivery throughout the school year
- Willingness to participate in a prescreen interview during flexible morning or afternoon hours
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and delivering direct therapy
- Maintaining progress documentation and complying with school and federal regulations
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and staff to foster student success
- Managing a diverse elementary caseload and adapting strategies to meet varied needs
