Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state license for SLP practice (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in meetings as needed
- Adjust therapy approaches to meet classroom and individual student needs
- Offer consultation and resources to teachers and caregivers as appropriate
