Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare progress reports.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and school-based initiatives.
- Adapt therapy approaches based on individual caseloads and classroom needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in school-based therapy environments highly desired.
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to varying classroom settings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time, onsite position (37.5 hours per week), with schedule and caseload assignments customized to your background and preferences.
