An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position is based in Providence, RI, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week over five days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to students' unique communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Comply with all relevant state and federal regulations and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
