Requirements for Success:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or an associate’s/bachelor’s degree for SLPA roles
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA in New Jersey
- Prior experience working with pre-K through high school students in school settings is highly valued
- Comprehensive knowledge of current assessment tools and evidence-based therapy practices
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
What You Will Do:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to support student goals
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements
- Track progress, document results, and attend IEP meetings to advise on student progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to offer strategies for supporting student communication skills
- Stay current with best practices through professional development and training opportunities
