As a valued SLP, you’ll use your expertise to serve a caseload of approximately 60 students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs across elementary grade levels. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (SLP-CCC or eligible Clinical Fellow)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is advantageous, but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Provide both direct and consultative services, working with teachers and families
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Encourage a positive, supportive atmosphere for student development
