SLP in Pasadena, MD
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Baltimore area, MD, serving a variety of school settings. This contract position involves working directly with preschool, elementary, and middle school students to provide speech and language services, including supporting and supervising an SLPA. Multiple assignments are available for both full-time and part-time schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to preschool children in community school settings and to students in elementary and middle schools
- Provide supervision for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) supporting students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to enhance student communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with MD professional licensure and school district requirements
- Complete district background checks, fingerprinting, and employment history reviews as required by House Bill 486
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred; caseloads include Preschool (age 3-5), Elementary (PreK-5), and Secondary (6-8)
- Ability to work itinerantly between multiple school locations, including preschool community schools and specific elementary and middle schools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support students, families, and school personnel
- Availability for either full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday) or part-time (30 hours/week, Monday through Thursday with option to add Friday)

- Magnolia Elementary (3 days/week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days/week)
- Aberdeen Middle School
This position requires commitment from January through May 2026, with potential extension into Extended School Year services in July. Flexible scheduling options are available, and prescreen interviews are conducted to assess candidate fit.
