Travel School Speech Language Pathologist - Palo Alto, California

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are needed for travel assignments in Palo Alto, CA, supporting local schools from elementary through postsecondary levels. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs seeking focused, short-term roles within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, high school, and postsecondary programs.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs.
Schedule Overview:
- Elementary & Middle School: June 10 – July 7 | 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM (4.5 hours/day) with 15-minute grace periods.
- High School: June 15 – July 10 | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (6.5 hours/day plus 30-minute unpaid lunch).
- Postsecondary: June 16 – July 13 | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (6.5 hours/day plus 30-minute unpaid lunch).
- No work on June 19 and July 4 (holidays observed).
Locations:
- Assignments will be based in schools throughout Palo Alto, CA.
- This is a travel position requiring flexibility and commitment to temporary placement.
