A professional opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting in Palm Springs, CA. This travel position requires a skilled clinician dedicated to supporting students with speech and language challenges through effective evaluations and targeted therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver therapy sessions focused on improving communication skills and meeting established goals
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
  • Involve and educate families to foster consistent support in therapeutic efforts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology within California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the state of practice
  • Completion or progress toward a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is advantageous
