Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Mentor, Ohio
Located in Mentor, OH, this opportunity offers full-time and part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions for the 2025-2026 school year within a school setting. These on-site roles focus on providing therapy and support to pediatric students, utilizing skills in pediatric speech-language pathology and teletherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals and standards
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Deliver therapy services using evidence-based practices, including teletherapy options when appropriate
- Document progress and maintain compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) requirements and licensing standards
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio license for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Certification through the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) required
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong skills in pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy modalities
