Pediatric School-Based SLP | Owego, New York
A contract opportunity is available in Owego, NY, seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary-aged students in a school setting. This role offers a full-time schedule, working 35 hours per week across five days, beginning January 9, 2026, through May 15, 2026.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology
- New York TSSLD certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in schools
- Comfort with teletherapy methods is a plus
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 elementary students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and healthcare standards
- Utilize teletherapy tools effectively if needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the school community
