School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Binghamton, New York
Serve as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple locations in the Binghamton, NY area during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 18, 2026, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with various communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and sessions
- Participate in assessments and screenings to identify students needing services
- Ensure adherence to district policies and professional standards
Qualifications:
- Valid and active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- New York State Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pediatric experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Ability to work onsite at various school locations within the Binghamton area
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
