Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Adept at using assessment tools and therapy techniques suitable for school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and screenings with accuracy and empathy
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and group settings
- Document progress, maintain timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support student progress
- Stay current on best practices and state/federal regulations in school-based speech therapy
