Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based (K12)
We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a K–12 school district near Omaha, Nebraska. This school-based SLP position supports students with a wide range of speech, language, and social communication needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
This is a full-time role for the full school year (August–May). Supervision is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for Clinical Fellows (CFs) as well as experienced SLPs seeking a stable school setting.
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K–12 students
- Provide direct speech therapy services in individual and group settings
- Support students with autism, articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Develop, implement, and track IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete required documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for or holding Nebraska SLP licensure
- Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP) welcome – supervision provided
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
