Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - La Vista, NE
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-6 leave replacement through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. This role is onsite in La Vista, NE, working approximately 37.5 hours per week within the school setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings with children grades K-6
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educators
- Ability to manage a caseload and provide individualized speech and language therapy services
- Knowledge of school-based special education protocols and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, progress monitoring, and individualized therapy to students K-6
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student communication goals
- Complete required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning interventions based on student needs
- Support students in developing speech, language, and communication skills to enhance their academic participation
