School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Okatie, South Carolina

Qualifications and Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary caseloads, is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and cases
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
- Conduct assessments, screeners, and evaluations as needed
- Work closely with teachers and other specialists to develop and update IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer consultative support and training to educators and families
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
