A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school in Odessa, TX, with a contract running through May 2025. This onsite role involves providing direct therapy services within a school setting, managing a caseload of 60-65 students, and supervising up to two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse student population.
  • Manage and prioritize a high caseload of students efficiently.
  • Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs to ensure quality care and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking.
  • Participate in team meetings and coordinate with educators to support student success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP License) required.
  • Experience working in a school setting strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage a caseload ranging from 60 to 65 students.
  • Supervisory experience with SLPAs is an advantage.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff.
