School Speech Therapist | Oceanside, California
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a San Marcos, CA location. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, beginning ASAP and ending June 11th, with a possibility of summer extension. The setting is onsite only within a school environment serving students kindergarten through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in kindergarten through 8th grade
- Collaborate with additional SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite for caseload support
- Work within a school site that includes a behavior program catering to mild/moderate behaviors
Qualifications:
- Must hold California Certification in Speech-Language Pathology with the CCC credential
- Fluency in Spanish is required to meet the needs of the student population
- Relevant experience working in a school setting preferred
Location & Environment:
- The position is located in San Marcos, CA within a unified school district
- The role is fully onsite, providing direct support to students within the school setting
