Speech Language Pathologist in Ocean City, MD
Step into a fulfilling role supporting students’ communication needs in a vibrant educational setting near the beautiful Ocean City, MD. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, providing continuity and growth as you partner with another Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering vital speech-language services.
With an engaging caseload of 40-50 students from PreK3 through 3rd grade, you’ll make a difference for children with mild to moderate disabilities. Services are a mix of group and one-on-one sessions from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling a stable 35 hours per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Maryland Department of Health Certification (required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Solid skills supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to work closely with another SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to all identified students in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver therapy through 1:1 and small group sessions
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Complete required documentation and progress reporting accurately and promptly
- Contribute expertise and guidance in the development and implementation of IEPs
