Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid teaching certification as required for school settings
- Prior experience in educational environments preferred, though strong new graduates will also be considered
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficient in the assessment and development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of services provided and student development
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations
- Adapt therapy methods for both in-person and virtual delivery as needed
