Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Oakland, California

Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure and credentials as required by the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy settings
- Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for PreK–8th grade students
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address students’ unique needs
- Work closely with classroom teachers and other professionals to support students’ academic and social development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records to track each student’s achievements
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate findings and recommendations to families and staff
- Stay updated on best practices in speech-language pathology and embrace innovative modalities, including teletherapy when appropriate
