Now Hiring: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Oakland, CA — One Centralized K-12 School Campus
Job Duration: North School Year (NSY)
Travel: Minimal; no site-to-site travel required
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the communication development of K-12 students. As a full-time SLPA, you will collaborate closely with educators and families to provide direct support to students with diverse speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services in individual and small group settings
- Implement treatment plans aligned with students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting sessions as needed
- Communicate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Work exclusively on one campus without the need to travel between multiple sites
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred, but not required
