Speech Therapist in Kenosha, WI
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are sought for contract positions within a K-12 school setting in Kenosha, WI. This role offers a valuable opportunity to engage with an elementary caseload while supporting students’ communication development throughout the school year. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials preferred
- SLP candidates currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply; supervision will be provided
- Experience or interest in working with elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focusing on communication goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students on an elementary caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school-based teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student data
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision (for CFY candidates)
