What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Michigan SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
In this role, you will:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with suspected speech or language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services and progress
- Educate staff and parents on strategies to support student communication
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
