School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Norwich, New York

This full-time role is essential in helping young learners develop vital fluency and speech capabilities, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Successful candidates will bring their expertise and passion for school-based speech-language pathology, working as an integral part of a collaborative and caring educational team. Your primary focus will be fluency and speech interventions, empowering students to achieve their communication goals for academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Familiarity with school-based services and effective collaboration with other educators
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassion and commitment to student growth and well-being
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and intervention for fluency and speech needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain effective and timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and achievement
