A K-12 school in Williston, VT, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Special Education experience to fill a contract position for the current school year. This role replaces a virtual candidate and offers an opportunity to support a mixed caseload within a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students K-12, addressing a diverse range of communication needs.
- Manage caseload effectively, coordinating with special education teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Deliver services primarily in-person, with potential integration of teletherapy as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or certification, including eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in special education and case management is highly desired.
- Ability to work with a mixed caseload across K-12 grade levels.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with additional hours available if needed.
