Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Montpelier, VT
This contract position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a school setting located in Montpelier, VT. The role involves managing a mixed caseload with a focus on onsite services, replacing a virtual candidate. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week with potential for additional hours as needed.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality speech-language therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum, providing individual and group sessions, and collaborating with educators and parents to support student progress. The position requires strong case management skills and familiarity with special education processes.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Eligibility or licensure to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus, though this role is onsite only
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
- Proven background in special education, including case management responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
