School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bristol, Vermont
A K-12 educational setting in Bristol, VT, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support to students with diverse communication needs. This contract position is for the current school year and requires on-site presence, replacing a virtual candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a mixed caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, utilizing case management skills to support students’ individual education plans.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress adhering to school policies.
- Communicate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student success.
- Maintain compliance with relevant licensure and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with CCC preferred.
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services.
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus, but this role is strictly onsite.
- Background in special education or experience working with special education students.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- 37.5 hours per week, with additional hours as needed.
