You'll be working closely with a dedicated team of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who hold CCC and school-based experience, gaining valuable exposure and contributing to students’ language, speech, and communication development in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license in California
- Prior experience assisting or supporting SLPs, ideally in a school environment
- Understanding of school-based intervention and documentation practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations across high or junior high grade levels
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students through direct and indirect therapy sessions
- Prepare materials and maintain records as directed by supervising SLPs
- Collect data and document student progress accurately
- Collaborate with education staff, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of a school campus and its students
