This opportunity is for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support diverse caseloads in a dynamic school setting. This travel assignment is based in North Haven, CT, and extends through the end of the current school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress notes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to facilitate student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Certification in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children across varying caseloads and communication needs.
- Strong knowledge of school-based speech-language therapy protocols and special education requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
