Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State-issued SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship considered
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational, assessment, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students under your care, including evaluations, direct therapy, and documented progress reports
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with each student’s unique needs
- Consult with interdisciplinary teams to support academic and functional growth
- Educate and empower teachers and families to promote carryover of therapy goals in classroom and home settings
- Remain current with best practices and compliance requirements for special education services
