Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and progress monitoring
- Experience working with students with autism and intellectual disabilities is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as identified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to help students achieve communication goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions on student needs
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and school protocols
