School Speech Language Pathologist - Norristown, Pennsylvania

Contract Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide itinerant services across preschool programs in the Broomall, Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Aston, Ridley/Woodlyn, and Springfield communities. This role offers both part-time and full-time scheduling options, with flexibility for candidates able to work from two to five days per week.
Your assignment will include travel between designated locations to meet the needs of a diverse preschool caseload, helping each child achieve critical language and communication milestones. You’ll also have the chance to engage within specialized programs as part of a dedicated educational team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP license
- Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapeutic services in both group and individual sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Document progress and maintain required records
- Serve as a communication resource within the school setting
