School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Phoenixville, Pennsylvania
Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a dynamic contract opportunity providing meaningful services to students across a variety of educational settings. Engage with diverse caseloads in schools around Aston, Broomall, and several neighboring communities, addressing vital communication needs in both classroom and itinerant support roles.
Your experience supporting students with autism, as well as skills in consultative and direct intervention, will contribute greatly to student success. Flexible scheduling options are available: while full-time (5 days/week) is ideal, candidates seeking at least 2 days/week are encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification for Speech-Language Pathology
- School-based SLP experience, including working with various student populations and needs
- Readiness to begin promptly and travel between multiple local sites
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in both assigned support classrooms and as an itinerant therapist within the community
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to maximize student learning and growth
- Maintain precise records and contribute to IEP processes
- Deliver services in compliance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
