This position is for Preschool Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) serving Bucks County, PA. These itinerant roles involve working with young children within the early intervention program through the school year (CSY) and potentially extending into the next school year (NSY), following the academic calendar. The service area is focused on Feasterville and Levittown, with the county office located in Doylestown, PA.
Location:
Positions are itinerant within Bucks County, primarily Feasterville and Levittown areas, with the main office at 705 N Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
Duration & Schedule:
- Contract term: ASAP through June 12, 2026
- Hours per week: 37.5 hours
- Following the school calendar for scheduled breaks and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to preschool-aged children in early intervention programs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement direct therapy
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support individual child goals
- Maintain accurate documentation following program guidelines
- Travel within the designated county area to serve the assigned caseload
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Instructional I or Instructional II certification appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with preschool populations and early intervention preferred
- Ability to manage itinerant schedules, including travel within Bucks County
