Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Prior experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students, identifying areas of concern and measuring progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailoring support to each student’s needs
- Offer direct therapy services across caseloads in both group and individual settings
- Document and report progress toward IEP goals, maintaining clear and accurate records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and educational staff to update plans and strategies
- Serve as an expert resource, providing guidance and training to staff and families regarding communication disorders
